'JAÇ NIGHT': 1st part

The Terrassa Festival, which has always been attentive to initiatives that energize the jazz world in our own backyard, wanted to dedicate a night to the magazine Jaç, who have chosen a programme of European jazz: Victor de Diego Group, one of the best examples of jazz that is being played here, and Move, a fine display of the most current Scandinavian Jazz.

Move features four experienced musicians, each one with their own personal style, uninfluenced by novelties and new trends. The musicians listen and respect, they leave space. All together it lays down a bed of embers that feed the fire of a solid discourse, that demonstrate up until what point Ben Besiakov, Anders Christensen, Fredrik Lundin and the leader, Jonas Johansen are compliment each other. All of them have collaborated with figures at the level of Chano Dominguez, Eliane Elias, Johnny Griffin, Tom Harrell, Billy Hart, Doug Raney, Kurt Rosenwinkel and McCoy Tyner.
